Santo Riccobono is a passionate and dedicated advocate with litigation experience in complex personal injury cases.  He has a deep commitment to client service and thrives on the competitive nature of litigation.  Santo obtains outstanding results and represents clients in personal injury, employment, mass tort, civil rights, medical malpractice, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and products liability cases.

Santo’s excellent reputation in the legal community is demonstrated by his designation as a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine, a designation held by only 2.5% of California attorneys.  He also holds a 10/10 rating from Avvo, an independent rating service for attorneys.

Santo is a leader in the trial bar as well.  He is the Treasurer of the New Lawyers Division of the Consumer Attorneys of California, and is a co-founder and Vice President of the Downtown Los Angeles Bar Association.

Prior to representing plaintiffs exclusively, Santo worked at one of the largest defense firms in Southern California where he litigated a variety of cases including those involving toxic torts, catastrophic injury, general liability, and construction defect; he also defended Fortune 500 companies.  While there, Santo was a mentor to younger associates and law clerks and was a member of the recruiting committee.

Santo’s drive to compete for his clients’ rights is a value instilled in him from a very young age.  When he was three years old, Santo began studying Tang Soo Do, a Korean martial art.  By the age of eight, he was a black belt, and by 17 he was the youngest master in the country, holding a 4th degree black belt.

In addition to martial arts, Santo excelled at football and baseball in high school.  In football, he played quarterback and cornerback and was heavily recruited to play college ball.  Ultimately, he choose to play in Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s division I-AA program because of the school’s excellent academic reputation.  While at Cal Poly, Santo was chosen to compete academically at the American Agricultural Economics Association.  He graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego in 2007.
