Rosa M. Bugarin (CA)


Rosa M. Bugarin graduated from Southwestern Law School. Before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, Ms. Bugarin was an inspector for Los Angeles County and advocated for consumer rights by enforcing laws and helping prosecute businesses engaging in unfair business practices. Ms. Bugarin also has a scientific background. Her scientific experience includes working as a chemist in a global pharmaceutical company and conducting scientific research for two years as a National Science Foundation research fellow.

While in law school, Ms. Bugarin continued to pursue her passion as an advocate for others and bringing justice to those harmed. She interned for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in their Environmental Crimes/OSHA Section where she helped prosecute cases involving toxic torts, environmental law violations that impacted communities, and workplace violations resulting in injuries to employees. She also interned at a public interest organization that advocated for healthy homes and for tenants living in substandard conditions by working alongside government agencies to enforce housing laws and eradicating slum housing.

After graduating law school, Ms. Bugarin has helped plaintiffs, employees and consumers in personal injury, elder abuse and employment law actions.

Ms. Bugarin is fluent in Spanish and a native of Los Angeles.
